“A word of warning, though, friends—beware the walking dead. The crumbling ruins surrounding the city are rife with them, and you’re likely to run into more than your fair share over the course of your career. Undeath and the undead are more than just a physical peril, however. Undeath is the worst kind of slavery. And it should be eradicated like all servitude, whether to aristocracy or to mental control. Being enslaved to the flesh beyond when Pharasma calls one’s soul to the Boneyard is a fate I wouldn’t wish upon my greatest enemy. So while you plumb the depths of Asad’s Keep, remember your solemn duty to your fellow man—both living and dead. Any undead you encounter along the way should be freed of their earthly shell."
“If you prove your dedication to freedom, the resources of Andoran will be at your disposal in your future endeavors.”
What do you do? Do you have any questions?
I ask what sorts of undead we might expect to find, and how best to 'deal' with them..
ReplyDeleteNoc raises an eyebrow at the man. To himself he wonders 'The man is proclaiming that we should kill the undead? Perhaps he should also demand that the sun rises every day.'
ReplyDelete"You have that pledge from me, and I can't help but wonder what others might do with the undead *besides* destroy them." With that said, the undead vary in type. Noc awaits an answer to Jerry's question regarding whether this man knew of specific types or methods of destruction for the inhabitants of out target.
Korg nods grimly in agreement... Korg values Freedom greatly. Korg will ask if there is any particular way he can show his dedication to freedom on this trip...?
ReplyDelete"Har! The might O Cayden Cailean will send those bags O bones back ta their rest, and tha's a fact!" Fergus declares, brandishing his holy symbol. "Can ye point out the most undead-infested path ta get to our destination? That's the way we'll take! Har!"

ReplyDeletePharasma? I am not sure I know this one? Any ideas?
Pharasma(Deity)
