  1. Here are my numbers:

    Roll(10d20)+0:
    19,16,17,18,2,12,12,3,11,11,+0
    Total:121

So either I try to figure out what it is or attack with these later. Initiative?

Or surprise round - Cast Acid Splash

    1. No surprise round. You spotted it with enough time. Go right into initiative.

    2. Do we have any idea what it is?

    3. Maybe. Does anyone wish to make a Knowledge:Dungeoneering roll? (Looks like Brad is the only one with the skill.)

  2. Well brads last roll was a 3 so I am guessing unless he wakes up and roll that is no use.

As this creature is a mold, slime or mound and not undead we can leave it Alone and retreat in my mind. I feel a detect magic would not turn anything up.

    Thoughts?

  3. Use Ability/Item/Skill – Dungeoneering 14 +6 = 20

    Initiative Roll – 9 +1 +2 = 12

I'm going to hold off on declaring actions until we get something from the attempt to identify.

    1. The critter is a Giant Ameoba.

A giant amoeba is a shapeless mass of living, liquid protoplasm. Though naturally translucent with darker interior spots, its surface is slightly sticky and tends to collect dirt and other debris from its environment; therefore, a moving giant amoeba looks like muddy water. A weaker cousin of creatures such as the gray ooze and black pudding, a giant amoeba is actually a mutated version
of a harmless creature too small to be seen by the naked eye, grown
dangerously large in size. Although happy to prey on creatures smaller than it, the giant amoeba’s constant hunger often drives it to attack larger prey, such as humanoids.

      It is an ooze.

      Some fun facts:

      - Slam attack with Grab and Acid.
      - Mindless: No Intelligence score, and immunity to all
      mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms,
      patterns, and morale effects).
      - Not subject to critical hits or flanking. Does not take
additional damage from precision-based attacks, such as
      sneak attack.

  4. Fergus has no problem leaving the moving barfpile alone. He is out of spells and blatts.

    Initiative: 9

    8, 20, 20, 2, 5

  5. Initiative: 13,+1 = 14

    Roll(5d20)+0:
    16,4,15,17,+0
    Total:65

Back out if we can / otherwise move in to attack:

    2 Handed Attack with Scimitar: 16,+4 = 20.
    Damage:5,+6 = 11.

    Roll(1d6)+0:
    +0
    Total:5

  6. Here is the Order we received them in:

1.) Tian venture-captain, Amara Li, in Absalom’s Petal District (Lantern Lodge)- Return - (jade heirloom katana)

2.) Major Colson Maldris - Andoran - (Destroy the Skeletons)

3.) Trade Prince Aaqir al'Hakam (Padishah Empire of Kelesh) - Return - (trade agreements)

I figure we can turn them in starting with Number 3 and work backwards. As that should be the most direct route back in town.

    Any objections?

  7. Looking for final posts from Matt H and Brad. I will also take further posts from the rest if you have something to contribute.

Looks like Dave, Matt F and Bruce are ok with retreating.

Is everyone good with Matt F's proposed order of visiting the Venture Captains?

  8. Noc is not eager to bury his fists into a giant germ covered in dirt, and is fine with taking our leave now if it is safe to do so.
