Upon seeing the alligator beset Jerry and hearing the
Draconic ravings coming from beyond the log, Korg rushed forward to aid his
party member. The sorcerer called back in Draconic, "Hold! We mean you no
harm, to you or your babies! We are but humble travelers who are off track! We
do not wish to fight you..."
Having heard the threat, Jerry responded with, "Whoa,
whoa, whoa partner. Don't open a box you can't close." The ninja went
fully defensive.
The kobold moved into the bog to the north of the log. She
screamed again, “Your blood shall feed my babies. That is the price for your
wickedness.” The Bog Mother cast an entangle spell targeting the rest of the
party besides Jerry. Korg nimbly avoided the grasping plants as he approached.
The rest of the party was also not impeded by the spell for the time being.
The alligator snapped at Jerry but missed the defensive
ninja.
Ronan moved forward toward the battle. Nester move back away
from the fight and out of the entangling plants. Holytrauma drew his sword and
moved to assist Jerry. Fergus cast Longstrider upon himself and moved forward.
