Four stone columns stand evenly spaced in a square in the center
of this foyer. The double stone doors you just opened match the outer doors
that stand opposite. The outer doors stand ajar. Narrow slits line the walls
that run the length of the room. The stone tile floor and walls are scarred
with the signs of a battle long past. Three gray-skinned dwarves lie in dried
pools of blood in the middle of the room.

ReplyDeleteAre those arrow slits? Anyone want to look through the single doors at our left and right before exploring that room?
ReplyDeleteTo save time, the arrow slits/murder holes along each wall can be accessed from the two smaller doors. Neither area is occupied.

Lady Emyralda does not detect any magic auras upon the dead dwarves.
DeleteThe metal doors to the south are ajar, twisted and bent by brute force. There is darkness on the other side.
Thanks, Keith. I would have felt silly if I hadn't asked.
ReplyDeleteI guess this is the vestibule. We can check the room and see who the dwarves are if everyone agrees.
"Likely zombies, aye? Waitin' teh spring up at us?"
ReplyDeleteRo-Mahn will investigate the sleeping zombies. Ready to give them such a poke...

"Esteemed friends," grumbles Wahesh, "somebody make sure our next expedition has far more maidens who need saving and far less zombies...um...fewer."
ReplyDeleteWahesh will join Ro-Mahn, ready to double-tap awakening zombies like Woody Harrelson :D
