Even without Knowledge (religion), it is pretty clear that this is another haunt.
DeleteBarnacleez's Spellcraft check let's him deduce that the ghostly dwarves are some sort of manifestation/effect similar to a Spiritual Weapon spell. That means that there are limited things that can affect them. As he recalls only dispel magic, disintegrate, a sphere of annihilation, or a rod of cancellation can affect the spell.
He does not think Magic Missile will have any effect on the manifestation.
instead of MM i will ready a wand of CLW in case i need it.

ReplyDeleteNot having much in the way of options, Ro-Mahn will fight defensively and try to pull aggro from the casters.

"Maidens!" grumbles Wahesh. "I asked for maidens...and maybe one easily killable dragon atop a mountain of treasure, ai!
ReplyDeletefollows Ro-mahn's lead about being defensive, uses Two-Weapon Defense.

I am guessing the best thing I can do it Blat for damage to them.

That could prove effective but you will need to accumulate enough damage to destroy it.
DeleteBarnacleez's assessment indicates that dispel magic might work in a single action assuming you make the roll. Would you like to cast that instead?
Dispel Magic is fine.

Looking to hear from Matt H and Steve.
ReplyDeleteAlso looking to hear back from Matt F if he wants to try Dispel Magic instead of channeling.
