The party entered the room to begin searching for clues.
Almost immediately, Ro-Mahn felt claustrophobic sense of commitment and
obligation. This was an indication that a haunt was about to manifest.
Lady Emeralda converted her Consecrate spell into a Cure
Moderate Wounds spell and released the energy against the haunt. The positive
energy dealt 12 damage to the spiritual manifestation. Barnacleez did the same coaxing
his wand of Cure Light Wounds to action; dealing 5 damage to the haunt. The
rest of the party stood ready for whatever was to come next.
Mumblings emerged from the floor and walls, stern voices
reminding the intruders of their commitments to family and community and
demanding they stay “just another season.” Long, sinewy arms emerged, grasped
for living creatures. Ro-Mahn and Cando were able to dodge the grabbing spirits
while Barnacleez, Lady Emyralda, Wahesh and Stabem were all grabbed and held
tight.
