  1. To clarify: Cando and Wahesh are ahead of the "brown substance" but the rest of the party is behind?

Immediate action - perception, does it smell oily/combustible? OR more like, stinky/rotting? And does it seem to be having any effect on the stairs, destructively like acid?

    Init: 9 +2 = 11

Assuming I am still below plane of the plateau above me, I keep a dart in hand to chuck at the first Gobbo I see.

    1. Ro-Mahn (Dave) and Cando (you) are ahead. The rest are behind.

The substance appears organic. The air temperature noticeably dropped in the area when the jars broke open. The substance is affixed to the shards and have also attached to the stairs and the cliff wall. It does not appear to be corrosive.

  2. Barnacleez rolls a 15+2=17 for init

His plan is to get some cover and plink away with Missy, once some baddies show up.

    His 1st D4=1+1=2
    D20=15, 19, 19, 1 ,11

  3. Delay to see where the baddies show up. Move to heal. If necessary or move to flank if possible.

  4. Keith, is that cliff-face/building at Wahesh's right climbable? How long would it take to get to the top of the building or that ledge of the plateau?

Wahesh climbs the cliff/building looking to gain access to the compound and engage in combat with the evil-doers within :D

If that's clearly not possible, he'll draw a bow and wait for a target to pop up.

    1. The climb from the ground is 30 feet to the top of the cliff. The top of the building is likely another 10 to 15 feet. It may be possible to climb but it would take some time (move at 1/4 speed) and has a real possibility of falling (skill check for each move action).

    2. Ok. I'll go with plan B then and wait for a shootable target to appear.

Does Washesh recognize the brown stuff with either Local Knowledge or Nature Knowledge?

    3. Wahesh is not certain of what the substance is (a result of 15 is not enough to identify it).

    1. I thought I read that they are too busy with each others mothers to reply.

  7. Not to spoil with player knowledge, but can someone ID the poop-colored ick?

Can we lower a rope so those caught behind the poop can climb up that way?

    1. I asked before, and was told I'm not close enough

    2. You can lower a rope from above. It will still be a climb check but considerably easier than scaling the cliff face.

Identifying the substance requires that you are fairly close and a Knowledge: Nature roll. Unless I missed something, only Wahesh has the skill.
