Cando moved to the cradle and lifted the blanket with his axe to reveal a newly
hatched fiendish giant centipede. Once freed from the confines of the blanket,
the vermin tried to flee but was quickly dispatched by Wahesh and Cando.
After the excitement, further search of the room uncovered a silver
music box worth 35 GP sitting upon the table. Sheet music for the melody that the box plays was found folded inside. Upon the back of the sheet was scrawled, “Play to access the secrets
below.” Cando identified the melody as being from a popular sea chantey still sung
today in the Chelish city of Remesiana.
The party gathered the treasure and moved on to the next
room along the balcony.
I wonder if that's a clue to play that song on the harpsichord in the great room or the lute?
ReplyDeleteIf you want to try that, someone needs to provide those instructions in a turn post.
DeleteOooo I like that. Once we finish with the upstairs we should try that on the harpischord - the lute is broken.
ReplyDeleteWe can mend the Harpsichord with the spell to remove the broken condition. I said that in an earlier post.
DeleteWe can do all this after we clear out this level. It occurs to me that the big angel statue might move just like the traps in the family crypt. I think there was a dead spot in the floor plan too.
