GoM: What Lurks in the Woods – Turn Results 39

Stabem resisted the impulse to immediately strike at Leeza. Instead the rogue chose to bide his time looking for an opportunity to gain an advantaged strike.

The goblin to the right, dropped his bow and moved to flank Cando with Leeza. The monster swung and missed the half-orc. The goblin to the left also drooped his bow and moved to engage the fighter/bard. It also missed with its short sword. The far goblin took a shot at Cando with its bow. The arrow found its target and dealt 4 damage.

Ro-Mahn looked for an opportunity to make a stealthy attack but nothing presented itself. The rogue moved back through the gate and attacked goblin on the right with his rapier. The strike missed the agile monster.

Leeza slashed at Cando with her short sword. The fine weapon cut into the half-orc and dealt 3 damage and a bleeding wound. The goblin tumbled backward to move out of easy reach from Cando’s double axe. Stabem chose the moment to strike tumbling between the goblin to the left and Leeza. The halfling rogue stabbed at the goblin between himself and Cando but failed to connect with his weapon.

Lady Emyralda stepped through the gate and channeled positive energy. The burst of healing removed 2 nonlethal damage from Cando and Ro-Mahn, healed 2 damage from Cando and Stabem and stopped the bleeding on Cando.

Barnacleez made it to the top of the rope and pulled his wand from his teeth. The gnome targeted the monster between Cando and Stabem. The Magic Missile hit and dealt 5 damage. Lou G’Boo happily moved to reunite with his master. Wahesh also made it up the rope and moved to the left of the gnome as he drew his weapons in preparations to joining the fight.

Cando stood his ground and attacked the goblin between himself and Stabem. The first swing from the first head missed and while the goblin jeered with glee and contempt, the second blade swing came around and inflicted 14 damage. The mighty blow bisected the monster. Cando stepped toward the center of the battlefield to give him more options regarding future targets.
