    Turn Post # 5

    Move 1 – Trying to climb quickly, set myself up for attack next round, and not get attacked while climbing. Thinking about scaling around E/F 7. Feel free to recommend changes.

    Attack – none likely
    Use Ability/Item/Skill – Tunnel Fighter applies to init.
    Search – Perception check, looking for additional fighters

    Talk to Hungry Dude after scaling the cliff – "Lucky for you, we brought a heaping serving of whoopass." Noc replies confidently, eyeing the shadows for reinforcements.

    Initiative Roll – [15] +2 +2 = 19

    Rolls for Saving Throws/Skill checks –
    16,9,15,11,5,3

  2. Korg calls out "I assure you, we are tough and chewy and not at all tasty. Be on your way and there will be no trouble for you...."

    Init: 7 +1 = 8

    If the ..thing.. takes an offense stance towards us, I will Acid Splash his monkey ass...

    Splash = 20 +1 = 21
    Crit? = 14 +1 = 15
    Damage = 3 +2 if crit

  6. I have a mixed message from the party. Are you immediately starting a fight?

    Map clarification:

    The area leading up to the door (columns C-F) is sloped, rocky and filled with debris. Climbing it requires a successful DC 10 Climb check. If successful calculate movement like hindering terrain using your move speed rather than your climb speed (2 squares move, no charge, no 5 foot step).

    The three areas of flat rock are wind-blown pillars of sandstone standing 10 feet off the ground (Climb DC 15). The walls of the canyon are 20 feet tall.

  7. If a member of the team asks me to hold back, I will. but I took his statement as a direct threat, and an invitation to be the star dish at his next dinner. I assume Fergus also does not wish to be consumed as dinner in such an undistinguished restaurant.

    Korg, do you see a possibility that he's not hostile/we're jumping into a trap?

  8. (should have read and replied to zombie's entire post)

    Looks like Noc can move 4 squares, with 4 good checks making a full round move. (H6->E6, E6->D5) using his first four existing rolls, (16,9,15,11) with a Climb +5 check, he passes DC10 easily on all four.

    That leaves him with a [5] +6 =11 attempt to avoid an AoO entering the bad guy's square in hindering terrain, and a 3 at the end of his misc rolls.

    Here's a few more if you need them, not that they appear to be in my favor...
    2,4,8,15,20

    (did I do all of that right?)

  9. I just want to make sure that a fight is happening or not before I post what happens next.

    @ Brad - One climb check is enough. You do not need to do four.

  11. Ronan,

    Cure? I seem to have some salt. But I would rather feed you to the wolves.

    Roll(10d20)+0:
    16,10,7,8,17,5,17,4,20,12,+0
    Total:116

    I am thinking casting Acid Splash if we go to a fight.

  12. The way Keith says that makes me worry we're about to kill a friendly little hobbit who chooses his words poorly.

    That said, word choice is important. Hopefully his reincarnated self learns that on the next time around. ;)

  13. Hobbits should not dress up as undead creeps.

  14. Korg launches another splash of acid at the creature, while taking a 5ft step to H5...
