Barnacleez and Lou G’Boo returned to the party and filled
them in on what the monkey had seen. Cando cast Cure Light Wounds upon himself,
healing himself to full.
Realizing that the human woman might be Nolaria’s missing
cousin, Nixa Volsetti, and that time was of the essence, Wahesh opened the gate
to confront the monsters and stepped into the opening.
The large monster near the cage turned out to be a fiendish bugbear.
It was ranting in common “it is all your fault” as it strangled a human woman.
Opening the gate caused enough of a distraction for the woman to break the
monster’s grasp. Upon seeing the party she called out hoarsely, “Quickly, kill
them all! They plan to bring death or worse to Sarringallow and us all.”
Bellowing in rage, the goblinoids joined the battle.
