The furniture in this irregularly shaped room are cluttered with
scientific equipment, and the glassy eyes of taxidermy animal heads stare down
from the walls. At the north end of the room, the stuffed body of a large,
winged beast is mounted on a low platform.
Two tables are arranged between the fireplace and pillar, segregating the southern portion of the room. Both contain an assortment of bottles, flasks and other alchemical paraphernalia. Two cabinets sit in the northern portion of the room on either side of the stuffed creature.

Lady Emyralda - 2 Constitution damage

Map Key:
Ceiling - The ceiling is 15 feet high on the estate’s ground
floor and second floor.
Lighting - Areas inside the estate have normal light because
of the abundance of doors and windows.
Chairs - Any squares that contain chairs are treated as
difficult terrain.
Tables - With a successful DC 12 Acrobatics check, a
creature can hop onto a table as part of a move action. If the creature fails
this check by 5 or more, its movement ends and it falls prone.
The stairs are steep and are considered difficult terrain
when ascending or descending.
Squares filled with bushes are considered difficult terrain
and provide concealment (20% miss chance).

Seeing no immediate danger, Cando smoothly draws his wand and administers 6 points of healing (d8 = 5 +1) to The Lady, and then moves carefully towards the large stuffed beast to examine it closer - taking care not to disturb any of the items on the tables.

Given that we've already seen a windup girl and a clockwork snake, it seems pretty likely that that taxidermy beast will be chewing our faces in a lil' bit.
ReplyDeleteWahesh will creep alongside Cando, careful not to knock over any HAZMATs.
