Three slimy creatures, coated in Demon’s Bile rush into the
room. Their bloated frames shudders with each heaving step, yet despite their
shape, the things move with surprising quickness. Behind the monsters is a bloated
man with waxy features.
From the open doorway the man proclaims, “So, the heroes
have arrived. Try not to make a mess when you die—I have great plans for your
remains.”

Despite feeling a little dooom-in-the-dumps, Cando continues his song to inspire his friends. He also draws a dart and hurls it at the remaining mite, hoping to kill it before it gets near. After his attack, he moves up the stairs towards the creatures coated in bile to help his friends, and serve as a rear guard against the last mite if he misses it...

Barnacleez thought.. "Well this seems to be going well, a few more seconds in and it looks like the big bad is here, with his Dretch droogs. joy.
ReplyDeleteBut if I live through the next half a minute, we might finish this thing. And there will be much rejoicing. Of course there will be some black goo clean up, but hopefully we can relax for a few days. And look back upon the halcyon days of just fighting Goblins. Seems like yesterday.
This here fight looks like it might take a turn, I don't know how tough this guy and his demons are. But I have confidence in our team, especially our cleric. She's come to my rescue before.
I pretty sure those basterds are Dretchs, a minor demon, but what else do I remember about them? If they have any special defenses the lads would want to know. Damn! I never know if I'm remembering something or if it's something I read in a fictional work. I got my brain twisted around once by some weird magic, and never know if information is real or not. That weird brain magic happened in a shit-hole town up north called Potassium Falls, or something. Too many parasites in the water there.
Ah well, back to the matter at hand.."
recall KS:Planes..and announce it to all if I get something..
cast on the defensive..
--cast burning hands
d20= 20, 19, 14, 6, 13
burning hands, 3d4=4,2,3=9
it should hit all the newcomers
then 5' step back, to make room for the front liners
if burning hands is not feasible, use Missy to ping the guy in the back..
d4=3+1=4
if the bad guy casts something, try to figure it out, and duck if I can.
Whoa! Ok, dungeoning is chock-full o' surprises.
ReplyDeleteWahesh puts it in reverse and climbs to F6 (or otherwise tries to tetris his way close enough) to attack Dretch E7, assuming 'Dretches' is plural.
LSword only = 17+7+1=25. Ldamage=4+3+1=8
who are we waiting on now...?
