Gallows of Madness: A Foul Breed - GM Turn Post 30

This small room contains a simple bed, desk, and chair. Thick webs cover the west end of the room, where the bed sits—and two humanoid forms appear trapped within. Sticky, purplish-black strands cling to the desk and chair on the east side of the room, except in one spot where the strange filaments have left a clear space around a small piece of metal.

A man-sized spider skitters from under the bed, clicking its mandibles menacingly.

Roll initiative. Starting positions are displayed upon the Combat Map.

    Initiative: 19 +4 = 23 (WOOOO!!)

    Move to I8 and attack!

    Swing and a: 15 +5 = 20
    Damage: 6 +6 = 12

    Either Move to Smash bug if open square / Firebolt if attack avail an no way to get to them.
    or
    Heal Check 2 Humanoids. (Perception +5, Heal +2)
    Check to see if they are still alive to get an idea of who they are.
    Also despider web them if alive so we can talk to them.

    If I go BEFORE spider: Move and stab!
    If I go AFTER spider: move to flank. Double move if necessary

    To hit: 19!+4=23
    Critical confirm: 9 +4=13 (sad trombone)

  4. I read that too fast at first: "Wahesh gets to ask the spider a question"?? But anyway...

    My question is: what are its special attacks/abilities?

    Washesh looks to see if there's a spot he can get to to attack the spider.

    Initiative = 19 + 3 = 22
    To Hit = 11 + 4 = 15
    Damage = d8 = 6 + 3 = 9

    Other rolls: 3,6,12,18,16

    1. The spider has a Web attack and a poison bite that does Strength damage.

  5. Initiative 3+4=7 attack if there is room on my turn, otherwise make sure we don't get surprised from other sides. 16,14,16,4,2

  6. init 17+2=19
    delay till at least 3 people enter the room for combat,
    then switch weapons to Herbert (heavy mace), and go in as back-up,
    looking to provide flanking, and attacking when ready.
