It takes about another hour to reach the Sarini Estate. As
the party crests the top of a hill, they see the grounds before them.
The rusted, badly bent iron gate to this walled estate is
dirty and hangs ajar, creaking gently in the breeze. The lawn is overgrown, and
a thick tangle of vines has crept up the walls of the opulent estate building.
An abandoned stable occupies the southwest corner of the grounds, and to the east,
more buildings lie partly hidden behind bushes and crooked trees.

"Its quiet... too quiet... before we head into the house, maybe we should make sure nothing is skulking around one of these out-buildings waiting for us?" Cando whispers to the party; "but I will wait on sneaky man to lead the way - didn't someone say the former owners were skilled in the making of traps?"
ReplyDeleteCando will advance in the wake of a rogue-like character, at their direction.

ReplyDelete"Maybe we should stamp and shout and make the monsters come to US for a
change, yah?"
"Ouch! Ok, fine, let sneakymen sneak sneakily. But, yeah, check for traps."
Wahesh will track parallel with Cando behind the designated sneaker,
keeping an eye out for both critters and traps.
