GoM: The Festering Blot - GM Turn Post 8

After regrouping, the party pressed on to investigate the stable. Ro-Mahn and Stabem examined the doors and did not discover anything untoward. Ro-Mahn opened the door.

Bones litter the bare stone floor of this stable. The reek of decay hangs heavy in the air. Peeking out from the last two stalls, purplish, nearly pulsating goo can be seen.

Movement in the last stall indicating multiple creatures. A giant fiendish centipede emerged to confirm the occupants. Upon seeing the party, the creatures begin chittering and hissing.

Roll Initiative.

Begin Combat Round 1. Starting positions are displayed on the combat map.

If you like, you may make a Knowledge: Nature or Sense Motive check.

    Cando will wait for a creature to emerge so he can chop it, UNLESS more than 1 of his friends go INTO the stable, in which case he will reluctantly follow... Swiftly adding arcane strike to his weapon

    1. yes, here is where you would note any healing done to the valiant party members who were wounded risking their lives for the party in the last encounter. yup this is the place where you'd note that.

  5. Barnacleez will enter the building if other party members do 1st.
    initiative 8+6=14
    if within 30' cast Disrupt Undead at a purple goo centipede.
    if farther away put Missy to work.
    if i can get a group in Burning Hands range, cast that.

    1. The disrupt undead can target the goo (destroying a square) but not the centipede. As they are infected with a disease and are not undead, the spell has no effect on the monsters.

  7. Wahesh delays action until/unless needed, and would like to make a Nature Knowledge check.

    Other than that, keep an eye out at the mansion, rooftop and grounds for anything creeping up on us.
