The unconscious apprentice is easily tied up and restrained.
A search of Gellion’s person revealed two potions, two flasks of acid, a
smokestick, a tanglefoot bag, a thunderstone and an antitoxin. He was wearing a
chain shirt and had a masterwork heavy mace and a light crossbow with 25 bolts.
A search of the room yields 550 GP worth of alchemical ingredients.
Destroying the remaining Demon Bile is easily accomplished
with a combination of cold iron weapons, channeling and Disrupt Undead spells.
The five figures in the Demon Bile prove to be the missing
apprentices. When Lady Emyralda channels again to destroy the Demon Bile
surrounding them, she also heals the apprentices. The five are still in bad
shape but are now conscious. They are filled with disbelief and sadness over
Gellion’s betrayal. More than once you hear the question, “How could he?”
After taking
a long look at Gellion, Nolaria addresses the party, “We should get him to
the Temple of Erastil and all of us for that matter. They will be best equipped
to treat our wounds and afflictions.” She looks around again, and moans. “Gellion
also abducted my cousin, Nixa Volsetti! She is no longer here. Gellion tied her
up and dragged her away, muttering something about leaving her in the woods to
the west as he left.”
I think we need to go find her (Nixa) in the west.
ReplyDeleteI also think we need to get them to the Temple.
Out of character, investigating to the west is the next adventure.
DeleteTaking the apprentices to the temple is more or less an easy if slow task.
We agree, says Barnacleez.
