Gellion snarled in rage at the halfling’s action. Barnacleez also stepped into the room and cast a Magic Missile spell targeting the giant hook fly. The missile struck the bug and dealt 4 damage.

Ro-Mahn moved quickly into the room and sought cover behind the crates. Cando also entered the room but immediately fell prone and rolled around in an attempt to put out the fire. Unfortunately for the fighter, his efforts were ineffective. Wahesh stepped over Cando and moved deeper into the warehouse. The fighter drew and fired and arrow at the giant hook fly. The projectile landed on mark and dealt 4 damage.

Cando suffered another 6 damage before his flames were extinguished. Gellion shouted, “The demon worms will rise to power by the grace of Mother!” He directed his rage at Lady Emyralda by throwing another Alchemist’s Fire at the cleric. He scored a direct hit dealing 6 damage to the halfling, catching her on fire, and splashed Cando, Barnacleez and Lou G’Boo for 1 damage.

The giant hook fly flew down to floor level and turned its attention to the helpless victims. The bug stabbed one with its proboscis and slurped up blood to fill its belly. Stabem rushed into the combat, taking cover behind the crates.
