Lady Emyralda regained her feet and channeled positive energy healing 5 damage from herself and Cando and removed the injuries from Barnacleez and Lou B’Goo. Barnacleez moved back to the top of the room and cast a Magic Missile spell targeting Gellion. The sorcerer’s last 1^st level spell struck the apprentice for 4 damage. As he was out of sight, Ro-Mahn did not benefit from Lady Emyralda’s channeling of positive energy. The rogue pulled out a Potion of Cure Light Wounds and drank it. The magical fluid healed the rogue in full.

Cando stepped forward and attacked Gellion using the flat sides of his double axe. The half-orc took two mighty swings but missed the apprentice twice. Wahesh move in to engage in the melee with both his longsword and short sword drawn. Gellion took up his heavy mace and attacked Cando in return. The swing was ineffective and missed the fighter by a considerable margin. Stabem clubbed the apprentice again with the guard of his rapier.
