Stabem also entered the warehouse and moved toward the enemies. His short halfling legs would not allow him to reach his foe and attack so he stopped short and waited instead, hoping to get an attack when the monster came to him. Lady Emyralda moved through the doorway and cast a Guidance spell on Wahesh.

The centipedes surged forward an attacked Stabem and Cando. The rogue unleashed his readied attack but misjudged the creature’s speed and missed the mark. Both bugs missed their targets. Wahesh moved forward and attacked the monster engaged with Cando using his longsword. The blow landed dealing 8 damage and killed the vermin. Cando took a swing with his double axe and bisected the monster by dealing 12 damage. Barnacleez stepped through the doorway and was prepared to cast a spell but found no enemy targets left.
