Lady Emyralda dropped to the floor and began to roll around to put out her flames. The cleric successfully extinguished the Alchemist’s Fire. Barnacleez moved deeper into the room and cast another Magic Missile spell at the giant hook fly. The spell struck the monster and dealt 3 damage. Ro-Mahn also targeted the giant hook fly with his sling. The bullet hit the mark dealing 5 damage. Cando got to his feet and closed the distance with Gellion.

Wahesh dropped his bow, drew his swords and shouted at the fly. The fighter readied an attack for when the giant hook fly approached. Gellion produced another Alchemist’s Fire and again threw it at Lady Emyralda. The boy’s throw was long and the missile sailed behind the cleric. The halfling was spared a direct hit but still took 1 damage from the fiery splash.

The fly disconnected from its victim and flew toward it tormentors. The monster’s abdomen was swollen and squirming as it approached. Once the monster was within reach, Wahesh swung his long sword. The weapon hit dealing 5 damage and killed the fly. With the killing blow, the creature’s abdomen burst send tiny fly projectiles toward Wahesh, Barnacleez, Lou G’Boo and Ro-Mahn. Ro-Mahn was not expecting the event and took 7 damage when he failed to dodge out of the way. Wahesh and Barnacleez managed to avoid the brunt of the blast but still suffered 3 damage each. Lou G’Boo used his master as a shield and avoided damage all together.

Stabem moved from behind cover and closed with Gellion. The rogue attempted to subdue the apprentice using the butt of his rapier to attack but the halfling missed his mark due to the unnatural means of attack.
