"Well my good lady, my friends Spike, Frodo, the Bobs, Banky, Jeff, Bucky, Earl, and Lady Windermere are out wandering the county looking for adventure and excitement. I happened upon these fellows recently, and we came upon your lovely little village, and your Ale House looked like the place to whet our whistles and grab a bite to eat. How fare you and what are today's specials, for we are a hungry lot."

Are you bluffing or does Banacleez not remember the party member names? Are you attempting a skill or just making conversation? Remenber, this is one of the places with a missing apprentice.
DeleteOn behalf of Bruce:
DeleteThe names he mentioned are the names of his gear, of which he names every piece. It's a quirk of his that you might not remember from his intro.
As far as skill use, he is trying to be friendly so a diplomacy roll to tip her towards the more helpful end of the scale would be in order.
I imagine that Barnacleez is holding up and pointing at pieces of his equipment as he introduces them. Does he also introduce himself and Lou B'Goo?
DeleteHe does not point to his gear, he assumes that everyone knows what he is referring to. He will personally introduce himself & Lou G'Boo, and the other party members unless he gets a queer look (ie the high-sign) from them.
DeleteWahesh opens mouth to speak, realizes that that was a lot better than what he was about to say and decides to leave the cover story to the pros :D. Offers an agreeable wave and nod to Ms. Kruptin instead.
ReplyDeleteKind of thinks that this is a bit early in the job for a break *but* since we're here, make the best of it, make himself at home and get ready for a drink and a snack...unless the apprentices' bodies are stacked in the corner or something.
d20= 19, 20, 10, 20, 10. Hmm, strange distribution from Google random number generator.
The Witch's End appears to be a standard tavern. You can get a drink (standard book prices) and they do serve food. The smells coming from the kitchen are delicious. There are a few other patrons in the common room and there does not appear to be any bodies stacked in the corner.
DeleteYou can also try the dice roller linked on the site.
Please excuse my friends, Alcie Kruptin.
ReplyDeleteWe are looking for Morvinarr Albusin we were told he might be here.
Depending on how the talking goes.
Ask when was he last seen, what were his duties, can we look around (We have a note from the mayor if we need it to go faster, Anything going on here besides what we can see?
Are you attempting any skill in particular? Five d20 rolls please.
DeleteI wasn't thinking anything in Particular. I just want to get out of the bar quickly.

Ask after the apprentice, assisting someone with a higher diplomacy. Or do it my own damn self if I'm the best at it
